ITINERARY:

Pick-up time 07:00 - 07:15 hrs. at Meet your staff in the hotel´s lobby (Chiang Mai Town Area Hotels).

A car will pick you up at your hotel as reserved time.

After transportation around 1 hour, you will arrive at Mae Khachan Hot Spring, as a breakpoint, with available toilet and restaurant services. Let´s take a view on the highest geyser in Thailand.

A stopover point on the way with one hour far from Chiang Mai is the tallest fountain in Thailand, rising high to the sky. The water temperature is about 80-90 degree you can boil eggs in it! Restroom and restaurant services are available.

Departure to Rong Khun Temple. Explore the stunning architecture, white building adorned with glass. A mixed Buddhish - Hindu temple that definitely decorated with luminous white glass and stucco Thai sculptures of the legendary animals of Sumeru Mountain. It was designed and constructed by Prof. Chalermchai Kositpipat, a national artist in the field of painting.

Departure for the Golden Triangle, Chiang Saen in Chiang Rai Province. We will take a lunch break here.

A territory where three countries meet: Thailand Burma and Laos. At the confluence of Khong River and Ruak River called "Sop Ruak". While you stand on the shore in Thai territory, you can see Burma and the Laos PDR clearly and there is also a ferry to Laos.

Taking a boat across Khong River: Take in the atmosphere of vast Khong River on a ferry from the Thai shore of the river.

Visiting the shores of Laos within the Golden Triangle. (Some dates Laos may be off the border by the consistency issue).

After finish a meal and sightseeing in the Golden Triangle, we will travel to the Chiang Saen District.

Wat Phra That Pu Khao Temple: Visit the old temple of the Chiang Saen old city. Its geographical location on a hill right before the Golden Triangle allows spectacular views of the river, mountains, and Golden Triangle.
